The Studio
Where drawing, printmaking and craftsmanship meet contemporary storytelling.
Frames lean against the wall. Reference books stack beside works in progress. The studio is deliberately unhurried — a space built for looking closely and working slowly.

Drawing & Printmaking
The work starts with the line. Charcoal and graphite establish the figure; ink and screen carry it into print. Each stage leaves its own mark on the paper — the pressure of a hand, the grain of the surface, the weight of a pulled impression.
Framing & Mixed Media
Mouldings are cut, gilded and glazed by hand. Glass is set and, at times, deliberately broken. In the mixed-media works the frame stops being a container and becomes an active element — something the figure pushes against, hides behind, or escapes entirely.
Current Practice
Each body of work begins with observation — a gesture, a tension, a fleeting moment worth holding. Ideas are drawn and redrawn before any decision is made about medium or scale.
Materials gathered on travels often find their way into the work, shaping its surface and its language. Nothing is rushed to completion; a piece is finished only when the image and the frame are in the right argument with one another.
Working With Collectors
The studio works directly with collectors — from acquiring an existing piece to developing something entirely new. Each conversation begins by enquiry.

Commission Process
An initial discussion of interests, space and intent.
